today we chat about how Jesus was born, died, lives, is coming again – and how it all connects as one big truth.
we must preach the gospel to ourselves and know that the truth of christmas is the gospel. we celebrate not only because of a baby in the manger, but because that baby dies for us and lives again. Just as we shouldn’t stop at “Jesus died on the cross”, we also can’t just stop at “Jesus was born”….because there is so much more. it’s all a part of it, The fact that Jesus lives again is why we have hope, and it’s why there’s eternal life!
